How do i get the webclient to work?

Frist of all when i get on webclient it always redownload the cache file and the file r all nulls i tried download zip file but it doesnt work either what do i do now? sad

Hmm...Well first off...did you try deleting the nulls and trying to redownload the cache file. If it does the same thing...I think there is something wrong with the webclient...as I found out recently. I've already notified Liam of the most common problems with the webclient, but I could either have to do with Java or the webclient itself.

for the download - what do you mean it won't work? You mean you can't get the file to download? BTW- you need WinRAR to extract the files from the zip file in order for you to play it. If you already have it and it still doesn't work...try downloading the latest version of Java.

i tried redownloading i got nulls i kno its not my java -.- so it has to be the webclient itself

What zip file? You mean the one on the home page...u clicked download?

Or you mean the zip file for the webclient [because the last time I checked...there was no zip file for the webclient]

on homepage i downloaded zip file and put in the C; drive to try it
BUT the webclient cache that i download is all nulls

okay...but there is no zip file you can download for the webclient on the homepage. You downloaded a seperate client, the older one...it still works but you aren't suppose to put it in the C:, you just double click it open and click on play dynastyscape. Don't worry...the older one is exactly the same as the webclient...well almost the same

Well then i tired where it says on the thing i download on homepage always comes up (Dynastyscape.exe had stopped working) so what do i do now?

Well...the last time I got that message...I reseted the computer and redownloaded the file...but thats just me

It could be that your class files are opening with the wrong program; right click and click on properties.

To clear this problem up for the future. The Webclient works for about 90% of people whether its first time or once you follow the instructions on the forums. Secondly the downloadable client is for an older version of dynastyscape where some custom items appear as nulls. For the time being i would suggest u use the downloadable client as you are still getting quite alot of the game from it only a few custom items, you can still do all the stats and quests etc.
