| Im uploading now and then ill send download link to our hoster. PS: Elz, You could host in the meantime? I would but my internet is very unstable as technically I am stealing it. If im not on here for a few days up to about 5, dont worry, It means I have no internet. Ill try and make sure I let you guys know whats happening atleast every week. Im making a few adjustments then Ill upload. WHAT WE HAVE: A True 474 Server with shops and attacking npcs (Melee ONLY) and OK PKing. (Melee Only) It is extremely basic. EXTREMELY. However its a start, I plan on this not being the server that ends up being DS IV as its a little basic, But If I got help with someone who knows 474s then we could make this great, as the stability compared to a 317 (Like Old DS) cannot be compared. Client link will be up shortly (Unless my internet dies) Although we cannot play until we have a hoster. Anyone with a desktop, Admin Rights (MAYBE REQUIRED) and a Broadband connection can host. Be Prepared to download alot of clients as we find the server we eventually want to use. Regards, Liam

| I could attempt to host? Although you will have to go through step by step with what I need to do and download in order to be able to host, as I reset my computer about 6 months ago and have virtually nothing on here.. I also cannot maintain it 24/7, but I could post in a Separate topic, when I would have it up and running, providing I can host it efficiently.. aha Elz

| Yeah thatd be good Elz for the time being, If you have broadband internet and a desktop computer you should be fine. Its currently uploading the client and its on 7% and is doing 2kb/s. Very Unreliable internet here. It could take another 36 hours just to upload, If my internet even lasts that long. Worst case scenario I upload it from work or school. Elz, In the meantime you can go to C:\Program Files and make sure you have Java, Your looking for Jre6 and Jdk 1.6.0_xx would be helpful. Let me know what your missing but to get both of those. type in 'download jdk update 21' into google, go to the java website and download the windows version. (If you cant figure it out I can show you later.) If you reset your computer I might have to do the CLASSPATH which is a pain in the ass. 8.5% Regards, Liam PS: Ill have to upload the server after this, but that should only take maybe half an hour.

| yeah if you download jdk 1.6.0_u21 it comes with both. SO youll be up to date Java wise for about a year =]. Its the one I use anyway, and its really good. It seems I can access the forums OK my internet isnt cutting out its just really slow. So yeah Ill sit on here for an hour so I should be able to reply fairly quickly. Regards, Liam

| OK so Its gonna take for ever for me to upload, So I am uploading the Client without the cache, and ill find a cache thats already uploaded that suits the client. So now its only two files that need to be uploaded at about 2mb each then give time to set-up server, You could all be playing within the hour. Regards, Liam. (NO-IP) Do you you use the same internet connection constantly? Not one of them little internet sticks or gay modems that refresh your IP every hour lol? (I dont think you do, Because your IP has been the same for the last Month by the look of it.)
