Theres a big readme in there, Only some of it is relevant. There is no Dynastyscape Folder or Cache, you will have to follow these instructions to get the client to work.

STEPS

1. Download the above. Extract it to your desktop.

2. Download this. http://www.mediafire.com/?oyejyeimzyd Extract it to your desktop.

3. Ok open file no 2 that you downloaded (z474 client) Now Im guessing the following so someone please feel free to update this step. Open up the folders (AFTER EXTRACTING) until you come to a choice. there should be 2 bat files (build and run) a 'src' folder and a 'data' folder. Go to the Data folder.

There should be a folder called 474 cache. Copy that folder to your desktop.

4. Go to your C Drive and make a new folder called 'Dynastyscape' it has to be spelt that way, with a capital D. Now copy the folder 474cache into this folder.

5. Now if you go C:/Dynastyscape/474cache you should get two folders. .jagex_cache32 and a folder called maps. If this is so go to your Dynastyscape Client.

6. It should load, but wont connect. Its set to localhost atm. You can connect to Dynastyscape when the server is online.

ALSO

You will need WinRAR, if you dont have it, google it.

You will need Java. (Jre6 or equivalent)

If you get problems when trying to run run.bat in Dynastyscape Client, Let me know and ill post a tut on how to set your classpath.

Should be good to go,

Edit: Actually I think I know why its done that LOL, its me being silly I think, just waiting to be able to dl the server!

Ive just uploaded the original Dynastyscape Tune its 24kb if you feel like changing it.

Just replace the jingle1.mid in the C:\Dynastyscape\474cache .jagex_cache_32 with this one.

EDIT 474 Doesnt support this so dont worry about the cache thing above, but if you just want the tune lol.

Mine connects fine so your cache is maybe not in the correct spot.

Make sure you have your cache in the right spot.

Make sure your using the client that I uploaded.

Portforwarding is different, and you may have to do that yes.

The z474 client wont get past update server, thats correct.

Have you read your PM? If not Follow the steps in that and let me know how you go then.

did you connect via the Dynamic IP, dynastyscapebeta.servegame.com?

If you have port 43594 open.

Check the cmd for the server, if it says more than one connection recieved. (One being you, the other being my attempt) It definatley works.

I think its just my internet.

If not we have to wait until someone else connects. You could try from another computer.

go to google type in whats my ip

find your IP. It should be that above. IF it is, the problem is your side, Port Forwarding or my side bad connection.

If your IP is different, post it.
